The SPIDER® spiral rope net consists of high-tensile steel wire of diameter 4.0 mm protected against corrosion by GEOBRUGG SUPERCOATING®. Compared to wire rope nets with individual wire diameters of 0.6 mm - 1.0 mm, a considerably larger amount of corrosion protection coating can be applied to the SPIDER® wire of 4 mm diameter.
