| Protection systems against debris flow, bed load, driftwood and snow slide
The safety of people and assets in mountainous regions has been jeopardized time and again by natural disasters such as floods, mudslides, rockfalls, and avalanches. Our flexible ring net barriers have demonstrated in real-life situations around the world that they can help to protect against these natural hazards.

| Successful testing of the new RXI-300 barrier
The RXI barrier series for the energy classes 250, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 5000 kJ has already proven its effectiveness against rockfalls around the world. After successful completion of optimization tests, we are now incorporating the 3000 kJ rockfall barrier into the RXI barrier series.
The RXI system offers many advantages compared to the ordinary RX system. The lighter 16/3/350 ring net is being used, for instance. The number of brake rings that need to be installed on the new protective structure has been reduced thanks to the RUNTOP technology where the brake rings only have to be built into the lateral support and retaining ropes. Moreover, the anchor forces can be reduced by approximately 30 percent.

| Impact Sentinel - Remote monitoring of rockfall barriers
Impact Sentinel sensors check the status of rockfall protection systems and set off an alarm if limit values are exceeded due to rockfall. Hence, potential accidents involving personal injuries or economic damage can be effectively prevented. This system has been specifically designed for installation at difficult-to-access places.
