In order to adapt our flexible ring net barriers to anticipated events and the topographic circumstance, we have developed two programs together with the Swiss Federal Research Institute:
With the dimensioning software DEBFLOW, standard barriers for granular and muddy debris flows can be easily designed. It is based on results from dozens of full scale field tests and laboratory experiments and is available to our clients online on request.
With the simulation software FARO we can not only simulate the effect of debris flows. but also determine the loads through rockfall, avalanche or snow slide.
