Special nets and cages protect people and infrastructures from flying fragments and debris following a detonation or explosion.
Typical applications:
- Storage of materials with a risk of explosion
- Chemical works
- Test installations and machines
In the case of an explosion, protection nets and cages withstand the detonation pressure but are strong enough to stop flying debris.
Test cages with a mesh size of 13 mm, e.g. for test installations and machine construction, permit the observation of the testing process, but stop small flying parts such as screws.
